With Coronavirus now in New Zealand we have been evaluating what we can do as healthcare providers to limit the risk of infection to both our team and patients. In order to minimise the risk of spread, we ask patients to make a few considerations prior to visiting the practice.
Please contact us to discuss your options if you have:
- Returned from overseas in the last 14 days.
- Been in close contact with someone who has been to one of the following countries in the past 14 days:
- Mainland China
- Hong Kong
- Republic of Korea
- Been in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19
- Compatible symptoms – Fever over 38°C, tiredness, dry cough, difficulty breathing. We would encourage you to contact Healthline on 0800 611 116 if you’re presenting with symptoms.
As much as we like seeing all our patients, we do ask if you are feeling unwell to please wait until you’re fully recovered before coming to visit us.
If you could be at risk but have a dental emergency please call us on 04 472 5516 and we can help organise something for you.
We will continue to assess developments and keep patients informed about any updates.
