Whitening Teeth

Expectations
It's important to note that results may vary. Often the more grey and yellow shades of teeth can require more whitening time.
Only natural tooth structure will whiten - if you have existing restorations e.g. fillings, caps/crowns etc. they will not whiten, and may need replacing if you wish them to match your newly whitened teeth.
Some teeth may take longer to respond and some may whiten more than others, for example your upper front teeth may whiten faster and more so than the lowers. You may need to purchase extra whitening gel and extend the whitening procedure time to achieve desired results.
Whitening outcomes cannot be predicted by the dental clinician pre-whitening. We may take photos and or the shade of your teeth before you proceed with the whitening treatment; this allows us to gauge your results. You may not have a uniform shade, especially if your teeth already presented like this.
It is not uncommon to experience some mild tooth sensitivity while whitening – this can be lessened or prevented with the use of the Tooth Mousse and sensitive toothpaste provided. If you have any concerns about sensitivity you’re experiencing, please contact us and we can offer advice on how to manage it.
Custom Trays
Your whitening trays have been carefully custom made to fit your teeth only. The trays should fit snug and not move/slip around when wearing them
Please clean you trays in cold water only as hot/warm may alter the shape of the trays resulting in a poor fit.
